The BEFx is a multi-use, high performing, variable volume centrifugal exhaust box fan designed for indoor and outdoor installation. Can be used for special exhaust or exhaust of lint-laden air or to supply make-up air and combustion air. Suitable for bathroom, kitchen or clothes dryer exhaust in a multi-story apartment building.
It is the market's ONLY variable-volume AMCA FEI Certified centrifugal fan with a capacity of more than 6,000 CFM (up to 28,000 CFM).
The BEFx box fan has a scroll-free housing design with inlet outlet connections on the same centerline. The design of the inlet and discharge areas assure minimum lint build-up, while the housing's double-wall design completely insulates against fire, noise, condensation and heat with 2" fiberglass insulation.
The motor and impeller are mounted on a multi-position hinged door to provide easy access for service and cleaning. The box fan can be oriented in multiple positions, curb-mountable, inline, standing on a flat surface or suspended from a ceiling.
Includes the EDrive E3 Motor Controller - a full featured, industrial-type motor controller for indoor/outdoor use (NEMA 4X) and programmed specifically to control and adjust the speed of a BEFx.
