Wood-Fired Fireplaces

Some things never go out of style – like the beauty and old world craftsmanship of a wood burning fireplace. A traditional wood-burning fireplace adds warmth and romantic ambience to a home’s interior.

A fireplace is an architectural structure made of brick, stone or metal designed to contain a fire. Historically they were used for heating a dwelling, cooking, and heating water for laundry and domestic uses. Since the 2010s, fireplaces have been used for the relaxing ambiance they create in addition to heating a room. Modern fireplaces have variable heat efficiency, depending on the sophistication of the design.

Fireplaces can pose a significant health risk: "Smoke may smell good, but it's not good for you."
