If the up LED is constantly ON, then the EBC/MEC is not able to maintain its draft set point. This may occur if any one or more of the following conditions exist:
- The pressure probe is connected to the"+" port on the XTP sensor. It needs to be connected to the"-" port on the XTP sensor.
- The silicone tubing connecting the XTP sensor to the pressure probe may be clogged. Remove the tubing from the"-" port on the XTP sensor and verify it is not clogged.
- Mis-wiring of the XTP sensor and EBC/MEC. Verify wiring b/w the XTP sensor and EBC/MEC.
- The fan may not be wired properly and is currently not running. Verify wiring to the fan.
- The set point is too high for the fan capacity. Adjust the set point to a lower value.
- The system may not be adjusted properly (i.e. balancing baffles, barometric dampers, etc). Rebalance the system.
The breaching and common vent may have leakage that is bringing in dilution air into the system, thereby effectively reducing fan capacity. Locate the leakage and seal.
