Territory Sales Manager


Job Description

For our fast growing team, we are looking for a high-performance sales manager to work with regional sales representatives/agents in the HVAC Plan & Spec market and effectively achieve business objectives for the sale of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales leadership through effective communication, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary
  • Provide sales management, budget control, and incentive planning
  • Proactively identify changes in the industry, products, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Partner with the National Sales Manager in the development of key customer relationship management
  • Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Technical Support, Design, etc.), to address key business issues and opportunities
  • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
  • Develop, supervise and maintain the sales channels through regular contacts via mail, phone, fax and e-mail
  • Prepare and perform presentations at a technically advanced level
  • Participate in the development of catalog sales materials, sales literature, advertisements, direct-mail pieces and other information
  • Attend meetings, seminars, conferences, and trade shows as appropriate
  • Collaborate with team members in pursuit of the company’s goals and objectives

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse sales channel
  • Strategy development, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional negotiation skills Ability to create and follow a plan
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to be creative, strategic, analytical and think outside the box
  • Willing to travel min 60 days annually.
